Horoscope for the Week: March 20, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Spring will appear to arrive early this year due to this being a Leap Year. This is true in the America’s anyway, as it will be March 20 in the Maritimes and all locations east of them. Otherwise, it is exactly on time.

Saying ‘Happy Spring’ almost seems inappropriate with the entire world undergoing what can be described as an initiation linked to the scope and gravity of the unprecedented events we are all experiencing. I have heard some optimism on the airwaves yet I think it may prove premature.

Astrologically, the planetary configuration at the exact moment of the equinox is the real takeaway. Mars and Jupiter exactly conjunct, Saturn at the critical 29th degree, Pluto and the Lunar South Node, all in Capricorn, suggests major power plays by governments…

The waning Moon in Aquarius indicates a full range of emotional reactions from the public from complete obedience to militant survivalism, probably linked to media activated over-imagination and excessive reaction. So, as will be expected given the current status of the world linked to the Covid-19 virus, spring 2020 will be eventful and dramatic.

There are also some other very charged aspects woven into this Spring Equinox chart, which presents a forecast for the entire season, that signify that tempers are likely to flare significantly, especially in association with the world situation and to financial stress and loss. This will probably lead some sectors of the public to want to take matters into their own hands with self-justified aggression.

I outlined and predicted the gist of this theme in my video which I recorded in December: The Astrology of 2020 – The Dawning of a New Era. I clarified that 2020 would be a year of events that would lead to this dawning, and which are destined to occur on Winter Solstice 2020 when Jupiter and Saturn are conjunct.

More recently, I created another video Spotlight on the Astrology of 2020 - The Synchronicity of Global Events, that brings closer attention to the synchronicity of current events occurring now, as indicated in the chart for New Year 2020. Together they constitute parts 1 and 2 and I will be sharing more videos soon, to bring additional emphasis to the themes outlined, and to provide other updates and insights as well.

I invite you to Subscribe to my YouTube channel and thanks for sharing it.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Discerning what you truly need and want to feel secure continues. In part due to social realities, you are that much more determined to assert strategic measures. You will go bigger than you have previously and your actions will probably prove pragmatic. Your estimates will include both what you can share or trade and what you may need from others.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Mars conjunct Jupiter will prove to manifest as a veritable militancy within you. Because you probably can, you may push harder than others and even more than you might have imagined. The intent behind and especially how you will push is the other important question. Positively, you will harness this energy and push through any of your own limiting attitudes and any unhealthy habits.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

You are well into the third period of a deep and powerful cycle of change in your life that may even be understood to be metamorphic and transformational. You may have to step back to see this clearly. It began in late 2017. Since then, the process has deepened and accelerated. Positively, you feel liberated from prior restrictions.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Big changes on relationship fronts are underway. These could prove quite advantageous and synchronize with professional advancement. At worst, you could become overly controlling of others. Entering into a training period is a distinct possibility. In any case, you are committed to increasing your powerful potential and social leverage.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

As with the spring thaw, the water is rising and the current is flowing increasingly faster. This momentum will continue over the coming weeks. A learning curve process is indicated as well and it could prove to be progressively steeper. These studies and training will probably include a variety of subjects so you will need to respond with heightened discipline and focus.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

A deep dive into a process of change is now underway. Positively, it does come with a heightened sense of creativity. Study and research are also implied. Also featured is a heightened sensitivity to beauty, color, and texture. This could well manifest as the activation of springtime arousal. Whether for love, business or purely for pleasure, all your sense levers are on high.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

The hefty Capricorn factor currently underway could be weighing you down. It is activating an impulse to dig deep to overcome your fears. Some of these could, of course, be stirred by all the reactive drama on the world stage. In any case, deciphering your best direction is part of this plot yet, while possible, it is unlikely that you will be ‘going back’.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Do you feel the power? If not, it is because you are undergoing something of a rebirthing process. It could take until the Moon’s North Node enters Gemini in early may before you feel it more fully. Yet, the process itself should be providing you with some sneak peeks of it. Learning to truly own it will also take some time so focus to be patient with the process.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Well, the retreat period is over. Hopefully, you were able to take full advantage of it. Now you are back in the game and your ambition and drive are in high gear. Yet, you still have to pay your dues. What this involves is subject to the specifics of your situation so perhaps take some time to reflect upon it. Somehow, it will lead you to new thoughts and associations.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Captain Capricorn at the helm is causing people to salute at full attention. This solid and stoic posture of power can prove very reassuring. Of course, there are always many sides to the story. In any case, you may be feeling your strength and authority these days and are determined to exercise it. The good news: life does not judge. The fine print: life does teach by karmic returns.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

This is not simply the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, the Sun is already up. Especially now with it in Aries, you will feel the sap of spring running fast in your system alright. This will prove especially true when Mars enters your sign on March 30th. In the meantime, focus on breaking through inner resistances and focus to maintain your balance despite the shifting sands underfoot.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

You are usually quick out of the gates when spring arrives. This will not prove entirely true this year. But, you will probably catch-up when Mercury enters Aries on Good Friday. Like a bunny outrunning the fox, you may even surprise yourself with your adrenal burst and clever maneuvering. You will also be focused to collect carrots along the way.

Horoscope for the Week: March 13, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Due to the Leap Year, Spring Equinox arrives early this year – March 19 at 11:50 pm EST. It occurs while all the main planets are Direct, as in, not retrograde. This is a somewhat rare occurrence and generally indicates straightforward thinking and matter-of-fact attitudes.

How this or any event ‘influences’ any of us personally is an entirely different conversation. Horoscopes provide a glimpse, but the real story is to be found in your Natal Chart and how the planets are forming aspects to it (Transits). It should be noted, however, that while we use the term ‘influence’, it is actually not an accurate means of saying what is happening. The planets are sometimes described as having ‘energies’ or ‘forces’ but this is incorrect as it yields to notions of physics, and Astrology belongs under the heading of 'metaphysics'.

It is more accurate to say that the planets represent archetypal principalities that manifest synchronistically. You need the ‘app’ to appreciate this form of Piscean logic, without which suggests ‘ring-pass-not’.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Just when you thought you might be out of the watery grip of Pisces as the Sun enters your sign this week, Mercury re-enters the fish’s sign where it will remain until April 11. The result of this is that regardless of the weather, you will not likely launch into spring as fully as you might otherwise. Use this time to dream on…

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

You are in the mood to make things happen. Mercury, Venus and Uranus are working together to inspire new connections and leads with those you deem movers and shakers. Yet, as practical as your aspirations may be, there is a definite twist of the unusual features, perhaps something unexpected or, if you are lucky, kinky.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Imagination is so significantly your power in the world. While it is the domain of Pisces, that is the sign that is situated on your solar career cusp. Yeah, it can prove as cosmic as it sounds. Meanwhile, you are feeling the love for everyone these days and might be wondering who is next… With your ambitions running high and your desires deep, the next may just be the lucky one.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Who are you now? Circumstances of late may be leaving you wondering and asking such questions. Positively, you are out of the Mercury Rx fog, yet that does not mean you are completely free from the mystic mist that has been surrounding you the past several weeks. Whatever the answer, you will likely still feel moved to express it assertively.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Okay, so you are not the only one who has felt inspired to take a skinny dip in unknown waters. Yet, you may be the one taking the lead. At worst, you feel a little weighted by the realities of the efforts required. In the bigger picture, one of the more significant cycles underway suggests that you have until Winter Solstice to complete the task. Slow but sure.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

Sometimes in the relationship dance we trip and falter or toes get stepped on. This may have occurred over the past several weeks and now you must contend with the realities of it. However, since you probably will not achieve the progress required, according to certain planetary configurations, you are probably wise to wait until after the Aries New Moon on March 24.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Health concerns continue to be registering high on your radar. Due to various factors, you may feel especially susceptible now. Therefore, you are wise to take any and all precautions you can think of. This will remain true into early April especially, yet will linger on, if to a lesser degree. Since the best defense is a strong offense, focus to boost your immune system and energy levels.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

If you have been enjoying swimming in the Piscean waters, take note that this cycle is in its last period. As lovely as such sojourns can be, they can also prove to be like swimming with sirens. You know the mermaids that have lured many a sailor to find their resting place in the watery depths. Positively you have received a kiss of destiny revealing who you are and are not.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Although a practical one, you are a dreamer and mystic at your core. This has proven especially true of late. Positively, you have been able to take refuge is quietude. If not, there remains time for you to do so for the next few weeks. Since it remains true that you are still in a cycle requiring giving more than usual, you may especially relish the sweet sounds of silence whenever you can.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You may have noticed that your imagination has been running especially strong of late. It is also possible that not all of the results are as positive as you like. Yet, since these are largely imagination-stimulated perspectives, you are wise to remember that they may not be nearly as real and important as you have imagined them to be.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

Holy waters Aquaman, or is that Aquawoman…! Either way, the scent of spring is strong on the airwaves and it is likely moving you, both figuratively and literally. Yet, this is not a fast move. It is more like a flow but does host some complex currents. Still, don’t let these perturb you; there is something very special in those waters like a great big rainbow-colored sunfish.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

While when retrograde in our own sign Mercury can sharpen our focus. This is not to say that your mind is in full forward motion...yet. However, it is becoming true and you may find yourself eager to cover lost ground. This pace will accelerate progressively over the next several weeks and it stands to be a rather revolutionary march as well.

Horoscope for the Week: March 6, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Mercury completes its first retrograde cycle of 2020 on March 9, exactly 12 hours after the Moon waxes to full in Virgo. Thus, it will be stationary (at an apparent standstill) just prior to turning direct again.  That the Full Moon forms close aspects to Mars, Neptune, Jupiter and Pluto over the course of the day adds to its potency, especially since all are in Capricorn, save for Neptune in Pisces.

The Sun is closely aligned to Neptune all the while increasing the Pisces factor ten-fold. Tragically, this is likely to synchronize with the exponential spread of Coronavirus. As well, the exact degree of the Moon at its exact culmination is ‘laced with Aquarius’, suggesting themes of revolution.

Mercury adds to this theme of unexpected events since it is without a direct aspect to any other planet. This tends to manifest as a plethora of mixed messages and confusing communications. Altogether, along with the already expected events, significant, sudden and unexpected turns are predicted.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

The influence of Pisces continues to prompt retreat and perhaps even seclusion. Meanwhile, the Capricorn factor is pushing you to take direct and deliberate action. If ever there was a time to delegate various responsibilities to others, if it is available, it is now. Basically, you may find you need a shoulder, or two, to lean on at this time.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Holy inspirations and epiphanies seeding dreams like strikes of lightening piercing loaded rain clouds, Batman! Such waters falling from the heavens above amount to be much as the metaphor suggests a blessing. While prayers do get answered and it may feel that way, this celestial opening of new opportunities can be understood to be the next phase of your destiny.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

You want to be seen and heard and to shine and have your day in the Sun. However, there is a spectrum of factors at play that betray this dream. Not that these factors are here forever. As well, you can offset these frustrating odds with the exercise of your will. Fortunately, your will power is running strong. Yet, to exercise them effectively, self-transformation may be required.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

You may be feeling a little lost. In any case, you find yourself deeply reflecting and asking important questions both within and with others. Externally, you are contending with a mixed blend of factors linked to others and perhaps especially linked to your closest relationships, career and social status, in general. In short, the game has arrived at an intense peak.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

You are in the midst of a mini cycle of inner change. Even if you are consciously aware of this, you may not want others to know, at least not yet. Plans made earlier this year have been and continue to undergo… alterations. At worst, your confidence levels are wavering. However, the potential for a big breakthrough is brewing. Persevere especially with business interests.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

All being well, you are in the process of strengthening your overall foundation. The twist is that this includes letting go of prior actions and being willing to renovate what may well be your established base. This is an expansive time in your career, yet you must overcome tendencies to scatter your focus. Concentrate on essentials and remove the rest.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Living a high vibration life is not simply a matter of ethics. Deciphering what lifestyle choices produce higher vibrations and which weigh you down is a worthwhile task. This may be especially true now with so much heavy-weight Capricorn influence. Positively, it represents the disciple you need to learn more and follow through to activate an upward spiral.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Do you realize that Pisces is your lover sign? It can be described as your muse, your playmate, your rainbow and the music that uplifts you. It is the sign of inspiration, imagination and higher ideals and it is calling you out to play. Meanwhile, Capricorn is barking orders for you to listen-up and kiss the fishes with full pucker. Lighten-up!

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Some cycles are more complex than others, especially emotionally. This stands to feel true, of late. While not a fun process, it may be helpful to realize that there is a purpose at play. How you interpret it is up to you but it can help to understand that life happens ‘for’ and not too us. That said, it can be a real challenge to acknowledge this truth. Doing so is the mark of a spiritual warrior.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

A complex weave of influences are at play in your life. Despite the weight that some of these carry, Jupiter especially has arrived to assist you. Accessing its gifts includes being willing to take a few risks and perhaps a big leap of faith, albeit a calculated one. The Pisces factor currently is destined to activate a brainstorming process. Tune-in!

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

Circumstances of late both close to home and in your personal life and on the larger world stage are challenging you to have faith in the mystery. This includes being flexible regarding the outcome of your intentions and plans. You know what they say about making God laugh…, tell her your plans! Not that you do not have any say; just that cooperation is at least as important as free will.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

The Sun and Mercury in your sign are serving to light the way. Mercury Rx, however, suggests that you have been contending with fog obscuring your ability to see clearly. Fortunately, this will clear this week and you will soon know with much greater clarity where you are headed. A learning curve is featured in this adventure.

Horoscope for the Week: February 28, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Of the 12 signs, Pisces is…unique. It is the most spiritual and non-attached of all the signs. Imagination, communion, and compassion are central to this archetype. The two fish apparently swimming in opposite directions is the lower, linear interpretation, can be better understood as one following the other in circular, rhythmic unity. This symbol reveals the essence of fish in a school united and moving as one, sharing in the same field of consciousness.

As is true of all signs in duality, there is also the other side of the story. Negatively, Pisces can prove too otherworldly, escapist, hopelessly addicted, irresponsible, self-pitying, self-deceptive, over-imaginative, overly-idealistic and delusional. It should be noted, that we are each a unique synthesis of all the 12 signs and the characteristics of a sign can be prominent in any other sign, and even dominant, at times.

So, deciphering who is strongly influenced by any of the 12 signs is not simply a matter of knowing the sun sign.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Sometimes the urge is to go big, while at others it is to go home and then at others yet we feel pulled in both directions. It is this latter complex that produces the inner conflict seeking resolution. How you go about it is relative to you and your situation, yet it is there now and for you to reconcile. With awareness and strategy, you can probably have it all.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Okay, so some dreams are… dreamier than others. You may be having this experience now. However, having a dream at all is already wonderful, if you can simply allow for it to exist without attachment or feeling pressured to take immediate action. This is not to say you will not take action at all. Take your time and enjoy the dream as an end in itself.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

It’s okay to be an idealist. Yet, it can prove especially helpful to be a realistic idealist. This means that you are fully aware of what aspects of your perspectives lean towards the ideal, towards that ‘should’ word. You can feel proud that you see it at all and inspired by it too and even inspire others with it. Just make extra efforts to realize what leans toward the ideal and what towards reality.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Sometimes the circumstances of our experiences lead us into the wilderness, into feeling a little lost within it all, even though the setting is familiar. At such times, it is good to keep an open mind and to play along, more than try to assert a strong lead. This can also amount to simply observing without judgment or reaction. Such are paths to feeling peaceful despite the drama.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Some rather deep changes are brewing within. The implications of these may be quite evident, all a part of the larger flow. Perhaps your perceptions and/or your interpretation or your attitude is changing. Maybe you are doing renovations of some kind. In any case, the time is right for such feelings and actions.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

Yearning for peace and harmony in your relationship life is extra strong now. The challenge, however, may not so much be how you are engaging others but how they are engaging you. As eager as you are to bring about peace which may include attempts to pacify the situation with lovely words and even noble actions, you are challenging to adhere firmly to what you deem to be true and wise.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Feeling as whole and healthy as you would like is in the spotlight. Whole healthy includes a weave of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance and flow. How you define these terms is the bigger question. Each must be translated into the reality of your life. Making efforts to clarify each will help you to know more precisely how to proceed.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You are in a creative cycle. It may be that the activity is more in your mind as you dream and scheme about what is possible and the best ways to achieve your goals. However, this is probably not the best time to take full action. You are may still be in the preparation stages. The start date is probably after the next New Moon in Aries, in later March.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You have entered an interesting cycle. On one hand, you may feel more peaceful within. On the other hand, you may be contending with your confidence levels vacillating especially due to unsettled emotions. This is actually a good time to quiet your mind and to be receptive to guidance coming both from within and without.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Mercury is now deep into its retrograde cycle in Pisces. For you, it is possible that it is proving to stimulate your imagination to see things with a whole new quality of clarity, actually. However, this will not be the case if you find yourself feeling sorry for yourself. If so, you may be dealing with depression. An attitude of gratitude is the key to liberate you from that prison.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

Your focus is strong, yet your confidence may be wavering. This complex influence will continue for about another week. Then you should experience a break in the clouds and see the blue sky through it. This peek of inspiration and hope may not last long, just enough to restore your confidence. So, be on the watch for it and any other such synchronicities.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

Although you may still be in the early stages, you have begun to take some initiatives towards activating a healthier flow. This could pertain to your energy levels and lifestyle rhythms as well as to stimulating new streams of income. This trend will continue and will increase throughout March. For now, direct your focus on breaking through inner blocks and resistances.

Horoscope for the Week: February 21, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Pisces time has begun (Feb 18, 11:57 PM EST) with Mercury Retrograde. Along with the Sun in Pisces, Neptune is there too.  The next New Moon occurs at 4 Pisces 28 on February 23rd.

The most mystical sign of the Zodiac, the sign of 'the disembodied soul' in its sojourn between lives suggests why Pisces is so often misunderstood. Ironically, 'understanding' is what Pisces wants most. Materialistic paradigms cannot compute the sublime mystery of the 12th Sign, symbolic of the profound perspectives the subconscious mind merits.

As it is, many have come to assume that our subconscious exists somewhere in the brain. This is like saying the internet exists somewhere 'in the computer processor'. The mysticism of Pisces refers to the realities of no divisions and of non-separation. Pisces is the sign of the state of communion one experiences via deep meditation, sacred rituals and mind-altering substances that intercept one’s usual modes of perception.

Reality without Pisces would be like life without a soul or imagination.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Pisces time often comes with the urge to retreat or escape for a while for you. This stands to be especially true this year. However, other factors suggest just the opposite. At worst, this can produce something of an inner conflict within you. Positively, you will be able to strike the balance and be both industrious and take sufficient time out.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Sweet dreams are made from influences such as these. All on their own, dreams can be worthwhile. They may lean in the direction of very real goals or be relegated eventually to the fantasy file. All of the above are fine because having a dream at all is… well, dreamy. Yet, your earthy nature is probably not so inclined to such whimsical attitudes. If not, get going!

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

For you, dreams and realities share a very close relationship. It may be that you see that reality is something of a dream and that making dreams a reality is what keeps things interesting. The twist in the plot of dreams is the imagination factor involved. As wonderful and powerful as imagination is, it can be your worst enemy when it over-functions.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Some cycles leave us feeling a little lost, or like we have entered a thick fog. This stands to be one of those. If so, it will begin to clear in about a couple of weeks. So, perhaps rather than try to forge ahead, focus on completing existing projects. Another good idea includes focusing to strengthen existing relationships that really matter.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

You have entered a deep and transformational phase. It will likely continue until Spring Equinox. Your best response is to cooperate and focus on some form and measure of transformation. This can occur by changing your diet or loosening rigid self-concepts or breaking free of habitual pattern or opening your mind to powerful new ideas.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

Engaging with significant others in creative expressions and projects is now in focus. Yet, there is a complex woven within this plot and it includes your willingness to give according to what is fair. As much as you may want to, you may have a hard time yielding your creative license and authority. Aim for the middle ground where you both give and receive.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Your health is a main focus now. Keeping it simple, take a closer look and see if you need to make any adjustments or changes altogether. For the sake of harmony on relationship fronts, either you or a close family member may need to dig-in deeper than previously. In some respects, you or they may have to go hard.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You have entered a creative, if complex, cycle. The complexity includes Mercury retrograde. A part of the challenge is to speak your truth and avoid saying what you think others want to hear. Positively, your energy levels are running high. You are willing to give more, but you are also determined to get your fair share in return.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Go big at home! There is no or in this statement. Sometimes the best way to go out is to go in. This may include going within for the real mystics and deep divers. Yet, the focus may be as simple as going into your home office or get into whatever excites you now or what you feel you must or should… do. Maybe you should read a good book or some other delectable dalliance.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

At rarer intervals along the way something happens without or lights go on within activating new perspectives and realizations. Such moments could manifest as rude awakenings as well as grand epiphanies. How you respond to either is the other part of the equation. Keeping it short, work to realize that life is happening for and not to you.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

The Sun in Pisces and especially with Mercury there too and retrograde will serve to ignite your focus to realize your dreams. These may be practical objectives; however, larger cycles underway in your life do not support attachment to material possessions. You are learning that you truly are a spiritual being having human experiences.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

Mercury retrograde in one’s own sign can actually prove to sharpen our focus. This may not be entirely true for Pisces, though. It could be a good time to gather new ideas and inspirations too, but acting on them with deliberate determination is more likely when the Sun enters Aries and especially after the New Moon in late March.

Horoscope for the Week: February 14, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Among the top stories this week in the world of Astrology is Mars entering Capricorn (Feb 16 – Mar 30) and Mercury turning retrograde just hours later (Feb. 16 – Mar. 9). Then the Sun will enter Pisces on February 18, apparently a day early due to this being a Leap Year.

Then, on February 20, Jupiter in Capricorn will form a socially-opportunistic sextile aspect to Neptune in Pisces.

How such an aspect will manifest for any of us personally is always subject to our own destiny and circumstances. However, implied in this aspect are themes of opportunity, meetings, and communications with others who serve to effectively help us realize a breakthrough in bringing our dreams into reality.

So be on the watch for this, or reach out to people who can guide you through a change process.  Due to the Capricorn factor that Jupiter brings to this equation, success will require some measure of methodology or instruction and discipline to follow-through.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You have probably been pushing hard over the past several weeks. This trend will continue in some respects, yet it comes with the added complexity of Mercury in Pisces and the Sun soon to enter as well. These factors will cause you to want to take some time out, as well. It might work best to delegate to others over the next several weeks, as much as circumstances allow.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

A deep and steady ambition continues to inspire you to persevere with your goals. Meanwhile, a busy time behind the scenes includes making repairs and perhaps a process of healing. More recently, you have begun to dream new dreams and this will prove true right through to late April. This does not, however, mean it will be an idle cycle.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

As hopeful as you are to see a brighter future, circumstances of late may have and continue to obscure your view and perhaps your confidences, as well. This is a time when the call to be faithful is sounding louder than usual and it will not abate soon. Faith in a larger plan and purpose behind the many ups and downs of life is supported by keeping your imagination in check.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

You are generally in an expansive cycle, yet have probably had to dig in deeper as well. This has perhaps manifested as a more intense workload. However, the work could be more internal. With the former, circumstances are pushing you to express your skills and talents more fully. With the latter, the focus is upon deciphering what constitutes your true priorities.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Changes on relationship fronts continue to roll in. These are linked to your career and social status. Positively, they include the prospect of travel and adventure. At a deeper level, you are on a quest to discover how you can express your creative powers more fully. Now you are coming into a deep work cycle that will demand diligence.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

A cycle of deep analysis continues. Deciphering what is worthy of your time and energy and what is not has been a central theme and focus. The results of this process may be leading you to consider making some significant changes in your usual approach. The emphasis has already shifted to a process of dialogue with significant others and this will continue.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

A creative and playful cycle continues. Yet, this will shift this week to take on a more serious tone. Health matters may be a factor. Paying more attention to your health has been an important theme for some years now and it will continue. As willing as you may be to take deliberate measures, deciphering what is the best approach may still be a challenge.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Laying claim to a fuller sense of your individuality has and continues to be a central theme. It is causing waves on relationships fronts. A process of healing of your sense of authenticity is implied. Sincere efforts are required and your determination levels in this regard will increase this week. Things could get complicated yet a clear focus on what you deem to be fair will help.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Our perspectives and interpretations tend to change over time. Sometimes they deepen or are more refined and precise while at others they change altogether and we begin to perceive things differently. At rarer instances, all of the above are true and this stands to be one of those times. At worst, these changes can prove confusing, at first.

Horoscope for the Week: February 7, 2020

Tip of the Week:

The Leo Full Moon on February 8 represents the culmination of the Chinese New Year celebrations. That these were significantly dampened by the outbreak of the Coronavirus is now global news. This pandemic does align aptly with the gravity of the themes of destiny underway for us all.

The Rat is the first sign in the Chinese Zodiac thus it marks the beginning of a new 12-year cycle, generally regarded as auspicious, ironically. The Western Astrology charts for January 1 at midnight included Mars in Scorpio strongly featured, suggesting that this year would begin with a lot of violence and drama, and it certainly has: massive fires in Australia, the assassination of a high ranking general in Iran, the death of 176 civilians from the retaliatory missile strike, the Kobe Bryant tragedy, Brexit, The U.S. impeachment process and the country politically divided.
