Horoscope for the Week: June 26 - July 2, 2020

Tip of the Week:

In the wake of last week’s historic Solar Eclipse which swept a path extending from Africa to Japan, other key astrological events have occurred and more are slated this week. Let it be clear that by now whatever events, turns and changes were destined to occur for you or anyone else you know will probably have occurred or begun by now.

So, last week on June 17/18, Mercury turned retrograde. Then, this week Neptune followed suit on June 22/23, and then on June 24, Venus turned direct after about six weeks of retrograde motion.

On June 27, Mars enters Aries where it will remain for six months! Then, on June 29 Jupiter will form the 2nd of 3 exact conjunctions with Pluto.

On July 1st, Saturn re-enters Capricorn and on the 4th of July, there will be a Lunar eclipse Full Moon!

How is that for an epic line-up?

Regarding the impact of the Solar Eclipse on a more personal level,  sometimes there is a delay, but usually within a few days, sometimes even prior to the actual date of the event, even upwards to weeks, the destined synchronicities of inner or outer events and changes will have occurred. Understanding this is where Astrology is a shining star. Of course, not everyone is meant to experience an activation, revealing just how personal our relationship with existence is.

Overall, this complex array of planetary activity is manifesting as producing many cross-currents, and these are very much synchronizing with our complex times. Despite the upset these are causing, they can also be understood to have a purpose. As repressed emotions and social disparities are flushed to the surface, releasing the pent-up emotional reactions that they have fostered, we have the opportunity to see them more clearly, enter into discussions about their deeper reality and implications for our times, and address them towards establishing fresh and, hopefully, more positive social attitudes and behaviors that represents our inherent unity as people and as souls incarnate.

At this level of perception, racial differences and prejudices become increasingly superficial. Yet, they are very real imbalances, and do produce very real injustices linked to all the various forms of discrimination that stem from them. In short, this overall process, despite the messy and ugly processes that they have and continue to include, can be understood as a necessary feature of the leveling of the playing field that is a necessary pre-requisite for the rapidly emerging global village.

On a final note, it is important to understand that in order for humanity to enter into this inevitable reality, we must do so under the banner of clearly defined principles that uphold laws that ensure the rights and freedoms of all people. As it is, various nefarious forces are trying to push it forward without these in place first, and, sadly, the mainstream media supports it and this is also causing a lot of confusion and division in society. That such principles come in the form of constitutions, such as that of the United States and Canada and other countries, is very important to understand.

So, until the constitutions of every country are identified, clarified, edited as necessary, and brought forward front and center, we are not ready for this global village. That governments the world over are reacting to COVID-19 in such a manner as to dismiss the principles as outlined in our constitutions, is where we need to be especially aware and vigilant. Understanding this is a cornerstone of the 'awakening' required at this time and, hopefully, with this clarification, you will watch the news with a new level of clarity and critical thinking that emphasizes it. This would include being open to other sources of information as well and to come to a new consideration of what is deemed 'fake news'.

In summary, with so many mixed messages on the airwaves, asserting conclusive interpretations about anything is a sure nigh of not thinking as critically as our complex times require in terms of positively contributing to the principle-driven, democratic world that genuinely holds up the rights and freedoms of all people equally, which our modern world so desperately needs to go forward with social and spiritual integrity.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

By now you will be experiencing the activation of energies catapulting you into action mode. In some respects, your response may prove… militant. As well, this impulse could remain active for the rest of the year. Positively, this could prove to be a very productive cycle. However, you may have to manage your temper and be wary of impulsive reactions that could get you into trouble.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

The time is right to get to work behind the scenes. This work could be on yourself, on your own attitudes, assumptions, habitual interpretations and behavior patterns, and so on. However, it could also manifest quite literally in terms of projects in your backyard, basement, or garage. Yet, you will likely make every effort to also enjoy quality time with family.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Venus now direct in your sign is inspiring a new wave of creative expressions. Meanwhile, Mercury retrograde in Cancer may actually be working for you. Positively, it is supporting your focus. As well, it could amount to reunions with family and old friends. Negatively, your perspectives could prove stubbornly fixed. Saturn back in Capricorn, however, could be activating a new phase of deep change.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

The Sun in your sign is ever an indication of the urge to take new leads and pioneering initiatives. Mercury retrograde in Cancer, as well, could actually be serving to sharpen your focus. Venus in Gemini, meanwhile, may be supporting you to b=feel more patient, empathetic, and compassionate. Yet, it remains that last week’s Solar Eclipse is the source of a big push out of your comfort zone.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

The fertile ground of your subconscious mind has been fertilized by both the recent Solar Eclipse and Mercury. Together, these could be activating your imagination, for better or worse. Positively, you feel inspired and focused to be extra creative. Negatively, you feel scattered and confused and, thereby, a little unsettled and nervous about the future. Focus on what is real and now for the best results.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

Friends new and old are making appearances on your stage. These may well be the source of fun times, joy, and inspiration. However, old memories getting stirred and possible unprocessed emotions from the past could also come to the surface to be either integrated or disintegrated finally. Which direction you will go will prove quite evident, yet there could also be a mix of both.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Well, if you have been waiting for your turn to get attention and recognition for efforts made and the rewards you sought, this stands to be your golden opportunity. One way or another, changes are here and these will have a direct impact upon your home and family life as well, if only in terms of your time schedule. The back to back eclipses will result in feeling more or less empowered.

 Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You are in a philosophical mood. However, you could be feeling a little lost as well. As you open to new considerations of yourself and what lies ahead for the future, you may not be able to get as clear a picture as you would like. Like an early morning fog, it will dissipate, but it could take 2-3 weeks yet. So, do your best to slow down and trust the flow.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

More than many, you have undergone many changes over the past several years and these have been of the deep sort and, in some respects, heavy as well. It looks as though a new round of such a flow has come to the fore again. This cycle of influence is leading you to new studies and research and this is probably the best response. Financial concerns and consideration are featured.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Saturn re-entering your sign will have the effect of increasing your sense of authority. This may prove especially evident in some of your closest and most personal relationships. Yet, you also feel determined to make every effort to keep the peace. Mars in Aries will not make doing so an easy task. A good way to engage this energy pattern is to dig deep and enter into a renovation process of some kind.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

Changes in your lifestyle are brewing. These stand to be of the positive sort. Yet, they will still require some measure of adjustment in your usual approach. Improvement and constructive criticism are keywords. Venus in Gemini, meanwhile, is proving to activate a playful mood and you yearn to get out and about and to play in the sun. Mars is pitching in with a boost to your energy levels.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

You have entered a very creative cycle in which the Sun may be shining at least as brightly within as it is outside.  However, it comes with some measure of emotional complexity. Sometimes it is this very sort of thing that lends to great works, yet it could just as easily manifest as tears and tantrums. Direct your focus to create beauty either directly on your home environment or within it, as within your study or studio.

Horoscope for the Week: June 19 - 25, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Summer Solstice this year coincides with a Solar Eclipse New Moon!  This is very significant. It is remarkable synchronistic in light of the current global economic shift underway. So, the Sun/Moon conjunction will indeed be at '0' Cancer '21'.

'0' degrees in Astrology can be interpreted as an ‘alpha’ degree, which implies that the principles and energies implied are very new, fresh, raw, inexperienced, clumsy, and often uncoordinated, yet full of potential.

That this occurs within the context of both Mercury and Venus retrograde adds some considerable complexity to the mix.

Since Summer Solstice is symbolic of the Full Moon, that there will be a New Moon that coincides with it exactly is suggestive of a charge, or a significant amount of added tension, as they are polar-opposite principles. One might imagine that the results could prove implosive, which implies having a larger force than an explosion… Since the wave of influence of a Solar Eclipse generally lasts for up to six months, this comes at a very pivotal moment.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

This Solar Eclipse New Moon will have a big impact on you especially in terms of your home and family. The details of it are dependent on the deeper themes of your destiny. Yet, you will feel the charge to take very deliberate action. Since you are generally in a power mode these days, it could well manifest as you making big decisions that affect all concerned.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Many new thoughts, perceptions, and interpretations will be seed with the influence of this eclipse as it is occurring in the fertile soil of your mind. The biggest challenge, metaphorically speaking, will be to realize that unwanted weed-thoughts and perspectives can grow as easily as flowers and food plants. Among other things, you will be pushed to do ‘inner work’.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Wow, a powerful cycle will be seeded at this New Moon. It will coincide with many new and exciting perspectives for you to consider. As well, it will activate a revolutionary impulse. What front it will occur on and what direction you take with it will be your choice, but you will feel the fire of pioneering and adventure to explore un-chartered territory.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

The Solar Eclipse New Moon occurs in your sign and so it will prove especially potent for you. Among other things, you could feel the urge or the call to resume activities that were put on hold. Yet, the time window for this may not last throughout the year. So, especially if you hope to bring projects to completion you are probably wise carpe diem!

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

This eclipse will have a profound effect on you, perhaps especially on an emotional level. While it may not be apparent to others, you could undergo a veritable process of deep transformation. It could also prove to have deep spiritual implications. In the classical sense, you could undergo an ego-transcending process. As the ego is often resistant to change, you may have to override its objections with soul authority.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

The effects of this eclipse could include old friends, some even forgotten, re-entering your life. Whether these are friends you wish to welcome back or engage with again is another matter. On the other hand, you could feel a burst of energy and drive to get a lot done over the coming weeks and months. Although a steady pace is indicated, it will likely be faster than usual.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Some pretty big changes in your public and professional life stand to be activated by this eclipse. In some respects, these could prove to be rather confrontational. Negatively, such passionate exchanges could stir your fears. Altogether, the purpose of it includes building your confidence for the sake of clearing old ‘deadwood’ or unresolved matters linked to matters of family and integrity.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

A rather interesting complex of factors will be triggered by this New Moon eclipse. On one hand, it will have the effect of liberating you somehow. On the other hand, it will activate some rather large scale changes within you and close to home in some of your closest and most personal relationships. Change is a keyword and some of the changes implied could catch you by surprise.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

It seems everyone is undergoing a lot of change and transformation these days of one kind or another and this is probably true of you. If this has not been as apparent, it stands to be in terms of the synchronicities indicated by this Solar Eclipse. Negatively, these changes could trigger some fears and prompt you to dig deep into your reserves of faith. Positively, they will awaken your warrior spirit.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Eclipses usually indicate changes of some kind. Yet, for this to occur they have to align closely with planetary positions and other sensitive points in our Birth Chart. Yet, this one will have the effect of having a measurable impact upon us all. Specifically for you, it will impact your closest personal and familial relationships. While this is true for everyone, it will prove especially strong.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

Changes in your overall lifestyle are indicated due to this eclipse. They could even stimulate the urge, desire, or the circumstances to make a major move of some kind. In any case, it may require various adjustments and improvements that could prove rather awkward. Yet, whatever you decide, once you do, your resolve and/or that of other key players will be rather set.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

This New Moon Solar Eclipse and the cycles of destiny it will activate for you could prove quite inspiring indeed. Due to both Mercury and Venus retrograde, you will have to contend with complex emotional undercurrents, however. These will be evident close to home and quite possibly involve your neighbors, as well. It might prove wise to maintain a conservative approach in this regard.

Horoscope for the Week: June 12 - 18, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Spring 2020 is now in its final stretch and what a spring it has been! Many will agree that the past several months have been the most confusing, frustrating, and disruptive they have experienced in their lifetime. Ironically, the major shift has, in some cases, disrupted the daily grind contributing to new and more wholesome perspectives and lifestyle rhythms. However, it should be noted that this ‘new normal’ is hardly over. Rather, this is just the beginning.

What COVID-19 has served to do is awaken many people to the realization that they, and we all, must be more aware and vigilant regarding the governing powers 'that be' if we are to preserve our rights and freedoms. The swing from democracy to various forms of tyranny is a cornerstone of the human drama and it will not go away.

So, it is not so much about personalities on the world stage currently. This is both an archetypal theme and one which humanity is destined to focus on for decades and even centuries to come, believe it or not.

In many respects, what is really going on includes a global economic reset (see video), which is actually destined to occur. So, despite all the intrigue and dramatic assertions of conspiracy, it is occurring "right on time", synchronistically. Of course, this does not mean that there are not a lot of powers and plots  and ploys at play behind the scenes. There always is, has been and will be. Thinking otherwise is simply naive.

How this economic reset occurs and what the implications of it are is another matter, and where we are invited to engage  our energies, thoughts, prayers, influences etc., to co-create a desired outcome. You do matter, and you do count, and you do make a difference.  We all do, especially when our heart and minds and our efforts form various modes of unified effort, and it begins with awareness and the sharing of ideas.

I am confident that this prediction will prove true and you will come to realize it as well. We are entering a new era right now (see video), and it is one that will significantly emphasize the importance of creating a constitution for humanity. After all, modern technology has and is, bringing humanity closer together. Among the principle means of achieving this goal is keeping our access to information as with the internet free and available. Given the realities of human nature, however, this task will prove more difficult than it may seem over the coming years.

More personally, how we can each best adapt to these dramatic, changing times is the more immediate and practical question. This is where I can help you with Astrology because you do have a destiny. Yet, destiny by its very meaning implies free will and co-creation. Assuming it is all destiny or all free will reveals lack of awareness of this subtle yet pervasive aspect of life.

I say this with confidence as I have been contemplating it and observing it for many years. A main consideration is the realization that our ability to make use of our free will is not a static factor, nor a democratic one. In other words, some cycles offer greater opportunities for each of us according to the combination of the cycles of personal destiny and the outer realities of the ever-changing dynamic of social realities.

“Normal”? Think again!  Let’s just say it like this: 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000, 2001, 2008, 2019, 2020… Do I need to elaborate? In any case, the key word is adapt… to the ever-changing times and this requires making choices. Yet, due to the many inner and outer complexities of life, doing so in such a manner as to feel clear and confident about the choices you are making is where gaining a deep and authentic sense of yourself and your destiny comes to the fore.  In light of the realities implied, the investment is quite small indeed. This is especially so since Astrology reveals your soul code for this incarnation.

Last week’s Lunar Eclipse on June 5th served to trigger our beliefs, philosophies, and ethics that we have acquired via social conditioning. Positively, it supported us to see through our habitual perspectives and to make needed changes on both personal and collectively levels. This event which included the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius dovetailed with the Lunar Nodes also currently in these two signs, serving to activate the themes implied, which includes the communications of higher ethics and principles. (See article).

The cycle it triggered will unfold over the next 18 months, especially, while the Nodes travel through these two signs of perceptions, beliefs and interpretations, information, knowledge and communications, ethics,  principles and truths.

Now, the Moon in its waning phase is approaching a Solar Eclipse New Moon which will occur on June 20/21st = Summer Solstice! This is quite significant and will manifest as a measurable turning point for us all over the course of summer. With Mercury turning retrograde on June 17/18th while in Cancer, this process will be accompanied by deep emotional complexities that will affect us all.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

In subtle but very real ways you may feel the call to retreat and quietude. You may still be able to stay busy and happily so especially if your focus is directed upon home and family. Fortifying your overall foundation is featured. Weaving a blend of tasks and chores with an escape from the maddening crowd and the dramas of the world will bring you the harmony you seek.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

'Show me the money' is a phrase that may be echoing in your mind. Beyond the immediate materiality, you are also in search of meaning and value. These could come in many forms from high-quality materials to knowledge that you can actually rely upon. With so much ‘fake news’ to contend with, you feel strongly about getting information that you deem worthy of your time.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

You are in a pioneering process that includes gaining information that helps you feel secure. Perhaps your biggest challenge is to get past your subjective perceptions. Sometimes, trading freedom for security is reasonable enough yet now always. Seeing a bigger picture is implied. Focusing to invest in knowledge and beliefs that you will not regret later is the main challenge.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Learning to think with your heart and feel with your mind not only includes empathy and compassion but accessing your intuitions as well. It is said that the intelligence of the heart knows intuitively. It may still prove important to verify your intuitions with factual knowledge, but doing so in that order is the key because the lower mind, the intellect, has traditionally been categorized as the trickster.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Deciphering who are and are not your friends and allies is in important theme cycle underway now. Above all, cultivating a healthy relationship with yourself is featured. This includes making peace with your past. You may be feeling a little haunted by the experiences and choices you have made in the course of your life, perhaps reaching all the way back to childhood.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

The old saying, ‘silence is golden’, may be deemed platinum for you at this time. A listening, meditative, creative, and perhaps a literary or journalistic approach will prove more suitable for you at this time. Positively, you are experiencing a steady flow of inspiration, yet you may be contending with your ability to focus. Allow some room for multi-tasking, yet aim for completion as you do the rounds.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Finding your place in the world is one thing and feeling at peace with the place you find is the other.  As the scales swing and sway, finding the balance is subject to moving rhythmically with the swinging. What you may need now is a break, or at least more say in the hours you give. Who does not want things more on their own terms? Focus to strike a deal that works for all concerned.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Finding your voice amidst all of the commotions, intrigue, and propaganda is a current challenge. This includes seeing through all the distractions to reclaim your sense of individuality.  A sincere intention to want to make a meaningful contribution will help considerably. In fact, to the degree that you are not focused this way, you could feel lost in confusion regarding your principles.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Who do you love and why? This is a prominent question on your mind.  In some respects, the answers may be obvious. However, if resentment, disappointment or cynicism are clouding your judgment, you may need to exercise more gratitude to be able to see clearly again. Other investigations to see beyond what you deem obvious is also likely and ideal. Acknowledge your assumptions and see through them.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Speaking your truth with significant others is an important theme currently. Yet, you also want harmony and will have to make extra efforts to find the balance. Where others are unwilling or unable to hear you might be recognized as a lack of respect. Awareness of this will help you to convey your message more clearly. Of course, respect is earned especially by being respectful.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

A lot is shaking both within and without. Positively, the changes unfolding are supporting a happier and more creative flow. Still, it feels important to exercise your ability to think critically so that you can perpetuate perspectives that are both clear and open to new considerations. Digesting it all may feel easier said than done as you are challenging to separate toxic lies from nurturing truths.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

It is said that melancholy can be the source of creative inspiration as your mind and imagination become moist with emotion, even if they feel confused and heavy. If so, you stand to express yourself profoundly and profusely over the coming weeks and months even. Either way, you will want to get a lot done so be careful not to get too distracted by all the drama on the airwaves.

Horoscope for the Week: June 5 - 11, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Gemini time is synchronizing with amped-up communications riddled with emotion. The many protests,   marches and riots occurring the world over are testimony to this theme. Of course, what people tend to watch on ‘the news’ is merely a fragment of what is actually going on in the world.  Ironically, it amounts to that now popular term, ‘fake news’, since it is subject to privately owned cable networks.  Selective perception works this way and is presented accordingly.

The North Node in Gemini and the South in Sagittarius which began on May 5th will synchronize with people becoming much more critical in their thinking over the next 19 months remaining in this cycle. It is this lack of critical thinking and deeper investigation into the news that enables corruption. Humanity is awakening to the fact that democracy is not simply something we have or get, it is what we must do on a daily basis.

Uranus in Taurus, which represents foundations  at every level  of  society  and personally as well, is serving to turn everything upside down, as is  the nature of Uranus.  So, what is commonly deemed false is coming to be regarded as true, and what has long been deemed true is undergoing reinterpretation to  be revealed as false. Which is which may never achieve complete consensus, but this process is underway and it will continue for many months.

The heightened emotional reaction and fervor can be attributed to Mercury in Cancer, where it will remain until August 5th, due to turning retrograde on June 17th. Mercury in Cancer is among its most difficult positions, especially when retrograde. This is due to the already challenging prospect to be objectively exacerbated by the high levels of the subjectivity of Cancer. Add the retrograde downturn to the equation and you get a deep, submerged, complex cacophony of mixed messages.

Meditation would help to offset this negative state and may even prove deeper and more beneficial than usual.

Meanwhile, the Moon waxes to full, culminating at 15 Sagittarius 34 and as a Lunar Eclipse at 3:12 pm EDT today, June 5th!

Specifically, it is a penumbral Lunar Eclipse, which basically means it could take on a yellow hue as opposed to the ochre when it is total. However, don’t underestimate its impact as it always depend on many factors subject to our respective destinies.  More importantly, where it lands in your chart and the aspects it makes to your Natal planets is the real question regarding the probable synchronicities, for better or worse, and often a mix of both as the emotional seismic activity goes.

Generally, With Jupiter in Capricorn, this could well manifest as a new round of government authority. However, with Saturn in revolutionary Aquarius, this will be met with at least equally as much revolutionary activity. And, as mentioned, with the ruler of Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus, the synchronicity will manifest as upheaval.

In the bigger picture, this has everything to do with the emerging economic reset, which is the real story behind the many sensational and pivotal activities and themes unfolding in the world. Of course,  to understand this, you have to break free of the one-dimensional perspective as provided by mainstream media and begin to actually think more deeply,  as you  might if you were a sincere investigative journalist genuinely interested  to have a truly clear understanding combined with your concerns for the future. A well-informed populace is ever-the key to democracy.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Mercury and Mars in water signs Cancer and Pisces will synchronize as an internal reach. You will want to be quieter than usual, listening more perhaps and talking less. Venus in Gemini and retrograde all the while will direct you to multi-task. The results could be quite positive as long as you can keep productively and creatively busy.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
More than usual, your perspectives could be colored by strong feelings, emotions, and sentimentality of late. This will continue for a couple of months, even, so you may have to make extra efforts to not allow your subjectivity to close your mind to new knowledge, perspectives, and approaches. There is ‘always’ another way and sometimes finding it produces clever, creative, genius.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Security is the keyword now and it will continue for many weeks with added emphasis. What it is and means to you personally and how you can best orient your focus to create it will be your top priority. Perhaps your greatest challenge will be to not close yourself off and hide mentally and emotionally as doing so will only result in the illusion of security.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
Mercury in your sign could actually coincide with an added measure of focus. Positively, it will also increase your ability to empathize. This is a form of emotional intelligence and it allows you to really feel into the messages you are receiving and what others are really saying and feeling. Yet, you may have to want to exercise this faculty lest you get caught in simply projecting your own emotions.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
It may be time for you to turn within for a while. Let the outer world do what it will and take a break from all the drama. By doing so, you could be very productive with your own affairs and it could also manifest as deep, meditative, contemplative, and peaceful states. This would certainly be ideal and prove very healing. However, you do it, retreat.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
Things are seldom quite as they seem or as we perceive them. If fact, the deeper one digs, the more overlooked facts one finds. Thus, keeping an open mind also includes respecting the views and interpretations of others. That said, you could be dealing with confusing people and situations and you are probably wise to speak less and listen and observe more for a while.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
More than many, you have been contending with some pretty heavy realities in your home and personal life. Although your confidence may be growing, circumstances are making you earn every ounce. This will not only continue but stands to amplify over the coming weeks and months even. Your confidence levels could rise and fall, steadily and rhythmically so focus to not react to the extremes.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
A reflective, contemplative, and philosophical mood is lingering it will continue for a while yet. These are water element themes and you may also feel inspired to literally get by, onto or into the water, literally. Doing so can have a way of calming and balancing unsettled emotions as the up and down rhythms are matched. You may, however, still feel undecided or unclear about career or practical matters.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
Sometimes the renovation that is need is more internal than external. This may well be one of those times. Of course, you get to decide what that means and feels and looks like. Meanwhile, you may be receiving mixed or conflicting messages from others and this could deepen significantly. Probably the best response is to conduct your own research and aim for journalistic objectivity.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
As eager as you are to expand your front, you may first have to contract. As excited as you may be to receive sound intel from significant others, you may only be getting their perspective. So, as do we all in these complex times, you are left to do more thinking and less listening, for a while, so that you can hear your own opinion. Opinion is the keyword and it can be contracted or stretched and expanded.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
Despite the urge for fun and play, it may feel like you are swimming upstream. The good news is that doing so usually results in spawning new ideas and perspectives. Meanwhile, much is going on within and it is pushing you to lay claim to deep reserves of inner faith, perhaps digging more deeply than you have had to for some time. Yet by doing so, you will also lay claim to more personal power.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
The pendulum is swinging in your public and/or professional life. Perhaps it is your actual career or perhaps it is your opinion about world affairs. Either way, circumstances are challenging you to see through the murky waters stirred by emotional reaction, you’re own, and those of others. Hardly a time for crystal clear perspectives, but you will probably feel compelled to try.

Horoscope for the Week: May 29 - June 4, 2020

Tip of the Week:

By now, we are all experiencing the impact of last week’s Gemini New Moon on May 22. I have brought a lot of extra attention to it because it is serving to fully activate the Lunar Nodes in Gemini and Sagittarius (see article). As well, woven within the genes of that New Moon is a powerful indication of awakening.

In some respects, this stands to be a very rude awakening for some, especially for those who were not aware that they were asleep. This ARTICLE  provides a compelling theory complete with a timeline and resource-rich article, for further exploration. Given the implications, I deem it not only important but responsible for us all to be aware of the possibilities that this is true and the realities coming our way.

It should also be noted that Mercury, the ruling planet for Gemini, will enter Cancer on May 28th. What is especially significant about this is that it will remain in the sign of mothering, nutrition and nurturing until August 4th due to it turning retrograde on June 17th. Mercury is rather challenged when in Cancer as subjective perspectives meet subjective emotions. This is especially true when it is retrograde there which is akin to trying to establish communication with someone while submerged underwater.

Naturally, the scales could swing in any direction in this regard, and it may be that everyone is asleep in one manner or another and, therefore, everyone will likely be much more awake, soon. Yet, it remains especially true of those who are NOT aware that they are asleep or have been…, led astray. When one is awakened rudely, especially if they have so due to having been misled, it could produce a lot of anger, and Mercury in moody Cancer will synchronize with a full spectrum of emotional reactions.

The results of this planetary alignment and especially due to the waxing of the Moon which culminates to Full, and as a Lunar Eclipse on June 5th (more on this next week), it will more fully reveal where people stand, what they are capable of understanding and digesting (Cancer rules the stomach and is linked to digestion), and how security will be interpreted.

If ever there was a time to think of the children and the future and to summon the courage to be aware and to take action somehow for the sake of contributing to their security, it is now.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

As curious as you may be about what is going on in the world, you may also feel a strong urge to retreat or to escape. You may not go much further than your own yard, or perhaps you will find it appealing to lose yourself in a good book or projects that allow you time to focus both on what you are doing and inwardly, as well. Talk about multi-tasking inside and out!

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
If ever there was a time to enter into a meditative focus, it is now. You may also be experiencing the flow as activating your focus on a variety of fronts. Yet, among these, perhaps the most important in terms of your spiritual progress is to quiet your mind and tune-in both for the sake of receiving new insights and inspirations, but also to reawaken and remember nuggets of wisdom gleaned in the past.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
With the Sun, Mercury, Venus and especially the Lunar North Node now in your sign, you are probably noticing that your focus has become much sharper. It is worth considering that sharp can be narrow, so be aware of this possibility. Acknowledge that there are many things, realities, and levels to be aware of and you unlikely are aware of them all. Focus on keeping an open mind.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
Like your Aries friends, but perhaps even more so, you may be feeling even more withdrawn that you have over the past couple of months. Yet, it does not need to be passive. In fact, you may find yourself investigating and researching knowledge that you had not considered previously. In fact, doing so would be quite ideal lest you find yourself wandering down melancholic memory lane.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
A whole new quality of commitment to friendship is an emerging theme. In this plot, you may be discovering who you truly feel kindred with and which friendships from the past no longer apply or hold much appeal. Trusting the flow, it is good to consider that the evolution of your own soul requires you to be willing to move on, at least for now. Above all, heed your heart.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
Some fresh starts in your public life stand to have a direct impact on your career. Some of these trends and turns should be evident by now. That Venus is retrograde could manifest as something of a delay, however, and it could take the better part of the month to see clear results. Invariably, sooner or later, these could well manifest as a whole new level of professional authority.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
You are determined to get a clearer sense of what is actually going on in the world. You want truth more than mere hearsay and headlines, even that which is shared in the media. In fact, you may feel the need to check up on the hidden sources behind these outer sources. Such would qualify as the investigative journalism quality of knowledge that you are craving, as if suddenly.

 Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
Comparing the 12 signs with the 12 apostles, who do you think symbolizes Scorpio? Why, Thomas, of course, as in doubting, Skeptical Thomas. The question now involves your skepticism backed by the desire to know for certain, or do you simply believe or disbelieve what you do because you do? Given the implications of decisions being made on the world stage, perhaps it is time to check your facts.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
With all that Gemini activity underway, you should by now be experiencing more relationship interaction. Positively, you feel positively stimulated by it all. However, you may also be dealing with some complexities regarding what is true, what is important, and what to do about it. Invariably, practical considerations are weighing heavily requiring that you assess the longer-term viability of your current choices.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
More than ever before, perhaps, you want answers. You are hardly alone in this determination, but you are willing to take a strong lead. Themes of justice and of fairness, harmony, and balance are featured in your motivations. Practical considerations are also features and you want to know how to best proceed from here, so that all your hard work has not been for naught!

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
A playful mood is lingering and it is inspiring you to want to enter new territory somehow. This could be true literally, but also intellectually, emotionally, and/or spiritually. Either way, you are willing to swim against the current to achieve your goal, if necessary. This will prove especially true if making the effort leads you into a more peaceful place and state of mind.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
A busy cycle close to home finds you attending to a variety of fronts. Positively, you feel inspired to create beauty in your living environment. With Mars in your sign, you are ready to explore new horizons even if doing so requires you to take a rebellious approach. Above all, you want to break through old walls that have perpetuated long-standing attitudes that no longer serve.

Horoscope for the Week: May 22 - 28, 2020

Tip of the Week:

Gemini time began on May 20, this year. And on May 22 there is a New Moon at 2 Gemini 05. What is soooo significant about this New Moon is that it is the first since the Lunar Nodes changed signs with the North Node in Gemini, and it will serve to activate that dynamic of destiny much more fully. It might be said that the entry of the Nodes on May 5th was like lighting the fuse and now the dynamite is about to blow!

This is compounding the presence of the Moon’s North Node in Gemini continues until mid-January, 2022, two months longer than the more common duration of 18.5 months. This is rather serendipitous given the current state of the human condition because it strongly reinforces dialogue and debate based on ethical principles.

More than ever before in history, all people have a big opportunity to share their opinion. Positively, this is leading people to think differently than they would otherwise. Negatively, it is producing a massive barrage of confusion and subsequently divisions between people. Yet, debate we must and will as it constitutes an important feature of the rapidly emerging ‘global village.

With Mercury and Venus both also in Gemini and the Lunar North Node as well, the emphasis on the 3rd sign of the Zodiac (Gemini) is quite clear. This emphasis will invariably take the dialogue process to a whole new level, for us all. Gemini is all about perceptions, interpretations and communications. It should also be noted that Gemini is also linked to the reality that our perceptions are subjective and conditioned. In other words, we do not see reality as 'it is' so much as 'we are' conditioned to see it, and according to our nature, personality, circumstances and our destiny, as well. If you want to see reality more clearly, as it is, recognize that you do not perceive it as it is, but as you have been conditioned to and, in this day and age - PROGRAMMED to.

That Venus is retrograde tends to both activate a staunch adherence to what we perceive to be real and true and it will synchronize with a demand for facts as opposed to theories. However, with Venus Retrograde in Gemini, the danger is that perspectives could become stark and literal, leading to heated debate. Next week, I will shed light on its influence for each sign.

Meanwhile, the retrograde cycles of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto, along with Venus are generally contributing to a growing rift between governmental authority and rebellious attitudes among the public. This will continue throughout the month and even into early July. Yet when Saturn re-enters Capricorn on July 1st, the governments could turn to a 'might is right', attitude.

So, if you want to make your point known, this is your window, especially between now and June 28 when Mars enters Aries and when Saturn re-enters its own sign of Capricorn shortly after. More on these themes next week…

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

The Gemini New Moon will activate new streams of knowledge and awareness. With Venus in Gemini as well and retrograde, you may become very attached to some of it. This could prove to be a good thing but it could also go the other way. At worst, you could become conclusive in your thinking and put the blinders on to any other point of view, which could also be a good thing, if it sharpens your focus.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
Stimulating many new thoughts and ideas either for the sake of generating new streams of income or purely on the basis of valuable knowledge shared has already begun. A sense of urgency may accompany this brainstorm. Uranus in your sign has and continues to manifest as a revolutionary impulse. You are eager to exchange ideas but may become impatient if significant others do not engage.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
You have become more pointed and direct in your communications of late. You want to be seen and heard as you share your thoughts, ideas, and convictions. Doing so in a creative way is especially ideal both for your own satisfaction and to have your perspectives received and respected. A learning curve is featured and it could both include giving and receiving instruction.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
You have entered a deep cycle on a variety of levels. In the deeper end, a metamorphic process is underway which could impact your financial status and what you deem important. In other respects, you have entered a cycle of retreat. Given the theme of isolation these days, this may feel frustrating. Then again, you may experience meditations and contemplation that prove truly illuminating.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
These are complex times but there are indications that you are experiencing a whole series of mini enlightenments. Perhaps you are seeing yourself in new and empowering ways. Or, perhaps you are beginning to perceive realities occurring in the world that you did not before. In both regards, these are leading you to make new choices and to direct your focus in ways that might even surprise you.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
Changes on public and professional fronts are underway. These could bring you to a whole new level and/or mode of expression. Positively, fresh starts will occur and you may find yourself engaging in expressions you have never previously. Mars in Pisces does indicate a rather complex cycle, especially on relationship fronts. For best results, don’t expect others to be there as you would like or think they will.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
You have become extra interested in world news of late. Especially keen to know the facts about what is going on, it may feel like you have become something of an investigative journalist. In some respects, you are feeling confident about what you know and deem to be true. However, you may also be dealing with feelings of uncertainty and the realities and implications if you have not been seeing things as clearly as you thought.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
It seems everyone is questioning what is real and what is true these days. You may even be asking yourself this question, about yourself. Are you certain that your perspectives and motives are worthy of your investments of time, effort, and money? Have you carefully considered what is motivating you? Since life does not judge but does teach be consequences asking such questions is probably wise.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
We all have blind spots. Assuming that you do not stand to be the biggest one of all. As you acknowledge these, your mind will open and you can become more receptive to thoughts, ideas, perceptions, and interpretations you may have not considered previously. With all the Gemini activity affecting your relationships, you can anticipate more stimulating exchanges.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
It is said that critical thinking is an art. Whether or not you deem yourself an artist in this regard, you may soon discover that you are getting a lot of practice at it as people and circumstances challenge you to think outside your usual box of perception. If you do not think you have such a box, think again because we all do and in doing so you will be thinking critically. Resistance is futile.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
A playful cycle has begun. Positively, it will activate the child in you to engage. Yet, you should also be on the watch for childish streaks to emerge. Yet, you must decide which is which. You may also feel inspired to venture into new territory both literally and intellectually. Exploring the unknown could prove exhilarating, but also scary. Yet, not venturing out will neither prove satisfying. Be willing to explore.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
If ever staying at home was in alignment with your mood, it is now. It may seem as though you are realizing things and activities that have been there all along but you did not notice. As well, turning your home into something of a studio where you can have a lot of little projects on the go will is likely and will prove quite satisfying indeed.
